What we do:-
We are a consultant firm; we manage building projects including
renovation from start to finish. We provide you with the right structural
advice and cost effective detailing, saving you money and avoiding
delays. We handle almost all the paperwork and technical aspects
of a building project (architectural
services). Such as site detail measurements, lease plan, design,
planning permission (legal matters), structural calculations, detailing,
building regulation and project management. We handle building projects
such as renovations, new houses, apartments, rear or side extensions,
basements, swimming pools and loft conversion
plans. Our structural engineers also do structural reports (engineer
report) for mortgage companies, lease plan and we act as party wall
surveyors.
Finally, our job is to ensure your building works are done to the
design, legally and in accordance with British Standard (BS). The
cost effective way is the correct way.
Saving you money on your
building project. How?
By offering you high quality architectural services and safe
structural-members in 3D environment, our drawings come with precise
technical detailing and high quality graphics. Our teamwork can
save you up to 10% of the entire cost of a project by reducing delays
and avoiding excess structural elements; crucial to a successful
building project. Structural detailing, building regulation and
build-ability of a project cannot be overemphasized in the design
stages. Most failures, mistakes and over budgets (unnecessary costs)
are due to poor drawings and detailing rather than underestimating
the cost of the project.

Starting
a building project:-
The building control of the local borough must be notified for
inspection of a building project even though there are no needs
for a planning permission. A Certificate of completion should be
obtained, when the project is completed, from the borough which
would be vital for insurance cover, selling the property and for
any other legal requirements
How
to avoid problems in a building project:-
It is very important and 'a must' to get a thorough detail of a
project on paper, detail drawing, before attempting to start a development.
These processes, the Architectural Services, (plan, building regulation,
specification and calculation) must be done, even if you do not
require planning permission. Any ambiguity can cause a big problem
between you and the builder or between you and the council and any
problem can make you redoing the work. Problems can delay a development
and can accumulate the cost of a project enormously. These are common
complications that we come across quite often. Our job is to take
care of you, to make you get the best design out of your project
and to protect you against remedial works, unnecessary costs.
Your rear or side extension, or loft conversion may not
require planning permission now!
From first October 2008 an extension or loft conversion does not
necessarily require planning permission. For more information visit
planningportal.
Our structural calculation services are now available to customers
throughout Great Britain (UK).
